CROCHETCRAFTS    POETRY
Updated 08/03/06

One Day we had members write poetry about crochet and our list, also some members. I thought about it and thought why not share with the rest of the world so here is our members poetry those that wanted to share with the world!

Always with a hook and never with a crook
I will probably die dreaming of pattern books.
Pitter, patter, what's the matter?
Now there is always another pattern.
I maybe nimble, I maybe quick,
But I have never use a broomstick (don't do lace).
What a yarn you do tell,
I would use Frebeze on that yarn smell.
List Mom Mary's little lamb's fleece
isn't always white as snow
Sometime you will see Mary go
with colors like blue, green or even indigo.

Dessert Menu Item:
Sherbert Coasters and crocheted Ice Cream Cones.

By hook or by crook
I shall die holding a crochet hook!
Pitter patter what the matter
I've lost my pattern
Jackie be nimble -Jackie be quick
I can't find my broomstick (lace)!
What a yarn shall we tell?
How about my yarn doesn't smell.
List Mom Mary had a little lamb
it's fleece was white as snow
and everywhere that they did go
Mary had her crochet in tow.

Dinner menu item:
Filet of Crochet with Gold Lame' on the rim

I love to knit and crochet
To sit at my computer every day
Sending notes about our craft
Writing things to make you laugh
Making booties, bibs and such
Printing patterns, making stuff
If not for all of my crochet buddys
I would be in a brown study

We cannot have our leader upset!
So a poem she wants,
A poem she'll get!
Ok, I've set here an hour but, wasn't successful.
This is just....... waaaay too stressful.
Well, Gang, I have rooms to paint.
Guess what Mary? A POET I ain't!
