Certain monthly and annual expenses are incurred to run a quality crochet discussion list. To help lower the costs for everyone and keep our list running smoothly, we have started an auction called " Crochet Crafts Huggs-A-Thon! Basically it's your huggs being auctioned off to Crochet Crafts.

Here's how it will work:

1: You donate an item. This item can be just about anything; something you've made, a pattern, hooks, yarn, needles, and/or thread. Whatever you'd like to contribute! Send a picture of your item to Jackie at Crochet Crafts Huggs-A-Thon

2: Each item will be open for bid for two weeks only; starting the day the item is posted and ending on midnight, Pacific time on the last day. The highest bidder will receive the item they've bid on. In case of a tie, it will go to the first one dated.

3: NO bids are sent through the list.

4: The winner's name will be posted to the list for the item they've won.

5: The winner will then send the amount of their bid to Jackie Sergent. Once I received received the money, I will notify the donator of the Huggs item to ship to the winner.(Help with postage is available if needed).

6: Monies are in US funds only.

7: Minimum bid on all items start at $3.00 unless otherwise stated.

"Why and where is the money going from all HUGGS"

Where the money is going:

All money we receive through the auction site is going in a savings account set up for Crochetcrafts list, we will be using all money for our list server, website, domain name. no money will be used for anything else voted upon by list members. We also have a website set up showing where the money is and what it is used for..

To bid On a Item Click on the picture and send in the amount you want to. the bidding updates will be sent to the list. when the auction for the item is closed, the winner will be notified on payment, etc..
